When To Call Your Child's Doctor**

Call the doctor for the reasons mentioned above or if: there is blood in the stool; the stools are consistently mixed with mucus; your baby hasn’t passed meconium within the first two days of life (usually babies are not discharged from the hospital until they pass meconium); if you have further questions or concerns about your baby’s bowel movements.

Warning

Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If there has been a sudden change in the child's bowel movements that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult a doctor. As with any drug, if the user is pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before taking this product. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

*The term “Doctor” indicates your child's designated primary healthcare professional, not necessarily an MD.
